Artist’s Statement
My work is rooted in the belief that the spaces we inhabit shape how we feel, connect, and live. As a self-taught artist, I came to painting through a love of home décor and a desire to create environments that feel layered, inviting, and personal. Working primarily in acrylic and mixed media, I use texture, contrast, and moody palettes to explore vulnerability, stillness, and authenticity.
My roles as a nurse, wife, and mother of three deeply influence my perspective, bringing me into close contact with both the fragility and resilience of people. I am especially drawn to the home as a space where we are most ourselves. Each piece is created to be lived with—offering calm, reflection, and connection while inviting viewers to slow down and find something of their own story within the layers.
About the Artist
Steffany Minotti is a self-taught contemporary painter based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, working primarily in acrylic and mixed media. Her work blends texture, mood, and emotion through layered, loose strokes that embrace imperfection and invite viewers into moments of vulnerability.
She began painting in 2023 and quickly gained momentum, debuting her work in 2025 to strong interest and enthusiastic response. In 2026, she continued to grow her presence, showing in galleries across Philadelphia, Lancaster, and Reading, and was selected to be featured in the upcoming publication of The Atlas of Contemporary Women Artists.
Her creative journey stems from a desire to cultivate meaningful, authentic spaces within the home—an influence reflected in the warmth and depth of her work. Beyond painting, she is a nurse, wife, and mother of three, roles that shape her perspective and infuse her art with sensitivity, connection, and the quiet beauty of everyday life.
